Since I have worked with a large population of English language learners (ELLs) in the past and I plan to work in a similar environment in the future, I wanted to gain insight into how schools and teachers can best support ELL students during middle school. In this reflection I focused on some of the best practices suggested by educational research, as well as reflecting on some observations of ELL students at High Tech Middle.
